To assist suppliers in enhancing economic and social resilience while ensuring shared economic benefits for all, PSMC has responded to the Ministry of Economic Affairs' initiative to upgrade and transform industries and SMEs by applying for the "Leading by Example" Low-Carbon and Smart Manufacturing Upgrade Program. This initiative aims to strengthen industrial economic resilience and competitiveness. Starting in April 2024, PSMC has been assisting 10 suppliers in implementing a greenhouse gas inventory system and developing carbon reduction plans to enhance energy management and achieve effective supply chain carbon reduction. This project has been approved by the Ministry of Economic Affairs and is expected to be fully implemented by the end of October 2025.
