Semiconductor Academy Program
Top Talent Incubator - Semiconductor Academy Program
PSMC participates actively in the Semiconductor Institute Program within the structure of National Key Fields Industry-University Cooperation and Skilled Personnel Training. PSMC acts as a key partner in industry-academia collaboration, continuing to invest resources in supporting high-end semiconductor talent development.
PSMC has established long-term cooperative relationships with semiconductor institutes at many Taiwanese schools. Through a steady injection of funds, research plan collaboration, and sharing of practical experiences, we assist the institutes in deepening their course offerings and staying closely aligned with the industry’s real needs. We invest considerable resources every year to support the institutes with their teaching and research in fi¬elds such as process technologies, component development, smart manufacturing, and advanced semiconductor applications. By doing so, we promote the effective alignment of academic research with industry technology.
In addition to ¬financial support, PSMC also participates vigorously in industry-academia exchange mechanisms. We arrange for our expert supervisor and engineer teams to join in academic forums, courses, talks, and research guidance, to help students understand industry trends and practical challenges ahead. For students, this means both better chances of ¬finding a job, and greater competitiveness. Through joint research projects and talent development programs, PSMC helps develop expert semiconductor talent equipped with what it takes to compete internationally, while at the same time laying a ¬firm foundation for long-term industry innovation. By continuing to invest in the Semiconductor Institute Program, we ful¬fill our responsibility for education, and our commitment to industry co-prosperity and national sci-tech competitiveness; we help realize our core principle of “supporting sustainable development through talent development”, and contribution our strengths to long-term development for Taiwan’s semiconductor ecosystem.
